Summary

Engage Education are currently working with a number of SEN and mainstream schools in London borough of Westminster and require Special Needs Support Assistants / SSAs / SENTAs for day-to-day and long term positions starting as soon as possible.

About the role

Engage Education is an award winning education recruitment company with many opportunities for SSAs / Special Needs Support Assistants / SENTAs to work on a day-to-day basis or for those looking for long term or permanent positions. This role will enable you to work in a variety of your local SEN and mainstream schools so you can expect short journey times and the opportunity to build rapport and strong working relationships. Engage Education are working with a cluster of SEN schools in London who require staff for January, April and September 2018.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children special educational needs and more specifically. We are specifically looking for support staff with a particular specialism such as ASD, Speech and Language, SLD, PMLD or SEMH. Due to the nature of the students a patient, caring and compassionate approach is needed. We are looking for recent graduates who are looking to build their experience working with SEN pupils and more experienced SSAs, Special Needs Support Assistants and SENTAs.

Requirements

Recent experience and a genuine passion for working with SEN pupils is essential. All applicants will need to hold a current enhanced DBS and be fully compliant to work in the UK.

Salary and Benefits

Competitive daily rates (£60-£85 per day). A designated consultant to guide you through the entire employment process, from applying, to preparing for the interview and settling into your new role.

We are looking for staff for immediate starts but also keen to speak with candidates who are in permanent positions and able to start after the designated notice period.
