SQL DBA
required to join our client on an initial 6 month contract. You’ll be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server databases in a hybrid working environment. You’ll work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance of critical systems.

Up to £450 per day (Outside IR35)

You’ll work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database administration, performance tuning, and optimization
- Managing backups, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
- Ensuring database security and compliance with industry standards
- Supporting database migrations and upgrades
- Troubleshooting and resolving database issues efficiently
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a SQL Server DBA
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2016+
- Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure/AWS) is desirable
- Experience working in an ITIL-driven environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
