Trueology is an established marketing insight company providing imaginative and results-driven marketing solutions to a variety of charity, membership and commercial clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a SQL Analyst/Developer to join our team at our office in Maisemore.

As a SQL Analyst/Developer you will be part of our Data & Insights team and will support and provide reporting, insight and business intelligence to our clients. The ability to add value to our clients’ marketing effectiveness is a fundamental part of what we do. You will be required to undertake SQL database development, ensure data flows and integrations with related apps using SSL and/or APIs using the required security protocols.

The role will also include a requirement to interpret results and trends from client data using a variety of software including Excel, Tableau and PowerBI and to present findings in meaningful and impactful reports and presentations.

Working in conjunction with Client Services teams, this position will be integral to the high standard of account management provided to our clients. As such the role will include a client facing element so the right candidate will need to have experience of and confidence in this.

Key Responsibilities in the role will include but will not be limited to;

Working alongside business users to design & develop data models
Development of new, and changes to, existing integration services
Report Design & Data engineering
Create intelligent and informative written and visual reports or dashboards
As part of the client account team, communicate and meet with clients to deliver and present reports

A willingness to learn on the job and develop flexible related skills is essential.
The role will also be required to take responsibility for a client’s reporting requirements along with taking the initiative to meet and exceed expectations.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following key skills:

Experience with the BI Stack - SSIS & SSRS and SQL Server.
Advanced Microsoft Office user, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Analytical and creative mind-set
Attention to detail
Team mentality and an interest in marketing
Ability to self-manage prioritise and meet deadlines
