Sportsbook Performance Manager

Reporting into the Director of Sportsbook P&L, you'll have responsibility for ensuring that accurate and timely performance information, data, and analysis is turned into purposeful intelligence, to support the sports senior leadership & operations teams. The role will oversee the prioritisation order of all data requests into the BI & Data Science teams, including presenting back to various teams with key trends, findings & recommendations.

You'll be responsible for managing the backlog & prioritisation order of the data requests which go into three central support teams - Business Intelligence, Data Science & Web Analytics. You will lead a team of analysts and will work closely with the senior sports leadership team to provide actionable insights and trends, always linking the data to what the business is targeted against on the core KPIs, providing daily, weekly and monthly reports which clearly articulate areas of strong performance vs areas of concern.

Through using the data sources available, you will set the standard for how data is consumed and used within the sports team, driving ongoing action plans and continuously refining core decision making meetings, based on trends & insights. An integral part of your role will be acting as a coach to guide other members of the team in how to ask / understand / action ongoing data reports / dashboards which you will have designed. This will include sharing best practice and providing ongoing support for queries and personal development

What we're looking for from you…

Experience of understanding how to request & interpret the core data points to help continuously improve the Sportsbook business is essential. You will need a proven track record of using data to understand the needs of online betting customers & what markets & promotions will appeal. We would also be looking for superb communication, organisational, operational, teamwork and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have worked in a highly numerical and analytical role previously and have the ability to turn data insights into a compelling story & set of actions.
