We are expanding our commercial events team and looking for a native Spanish, Portuguese or French-speaking event salesperson to identify, pitch, and close new business sponsorship deals across our global portfolio of legal events. Equal Opportunity Statement

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    Develop and execute sponsorship sales strategies to meet revenue targets across assigned legal industry events.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    Identify and build relationships with prospective sponsors, including law firms, legal technology providers, and service vendors targeting legal professionals.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and proposal development to negotiation and closing. Maintain and grow existing client relationships across the LATAM and EMEA regions.
  • Market Research:
    Stay up to date with legal industry trends to identify new sponsorship opportunities and tailor proposals to client needs.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with the marketing, content, research, and event operations teams to ensure sponsor deliverables are fulfilled to the highest standard.
  • Reporting & Forecasting:
    Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare sales reports, and provide regular revenue forecasts.

Skills and Experience
  • B2B event sponsorship or media sales, ideally within the legal, professional services, or events industry.
  • Business proficiency (spoken and written) in English and at least one of Spanish, Portuguese or French as this role is selling specifically to the LATAM and EMEA jurisdictions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Solid experience of qualifying new business opportunities and transitioning them through the event sales funnel.
  • Pipeline management should be your bread and butter.
  • Strong network or experience working with legal vendors, law firms, or legal tech companies is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create compelling sponsorship proposals and negotiate at senior levels.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
