Sponsorship Sales Executive required for one of the best Conference/Exhibition/Publishing companies in the world, these guys really are the real deal, I have worked with this client my whole career (17 years) and I can honestly say they are one of the best. They are recruiting for a Sponsorship Sales Executive to come in and sell sponsorship over the phone and F2F on their International legal conferences, events are here in the UK, Europe, Asia, Africa and USA.

£25,000 to £27,000 OTE 42K+Good Bens

Overview of Position:

Sale of the full range of high value sponsorship & exhibition opportunities/propositions at conferences and training products in the areas of Legal and Finance.

You will identify the main players in each market, make initial contact, pitch and close.

Your products (sponsorship & exhibition opportunities) range in price between £5-£35,000.

Job Summary:

You will:

  • Report to the MD/Commercial Director and liaise with and the event producer to identify appropriate conferences, target markets and generate leads.
  • You will build a strong partnership with the event producer
  • Build the divisional database by continuously:
  • retaining & improving existing relationships with major clients (reducing attrition)
  • identifying new clients and establishing new sales relationships
  • establishing event sales pipelines
  • Work as a "consultant" - to better understand their clients' business objectives so as to capture a larger part of their annual marketing mix
  • Work to pre-determined targets for events and for the division as a whole
  • Draft all sales contracts and proposals
  • Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required.

To be considered for this role you must be degree educated, have strong communciation skills and have the desire to suceed, this is a fast paced environment, must have 1 to 2 years commercial Conference Sponsorship sales experience to be put forward, the client will consider someone coming from Delgate sales, but only if they have a Legal Delegate sales backgound. Please no time wasters.
