Leeds and York Partnership NHS Trust is a high performing NHS Foundation Trust providing specialist mental health and learning disability services across Leeds and York, as well as Regional and National specialist services. As a teaching Trust with strong links to local universities, we are a centre of excellence for teaching, research and development in the local region.
Employing around 2,600 staff along with a thriving internal temporary staffing bank and over 200 volunteers, our vision is to provide outstanding services as an exceptional employer of choice.

The team works citywide and has a central base. The hours of working are primarily Monday to Friday (9-5pm). However, flexibility may occasionally be required in agreement with the Clinical Team Manager to work outside these hours to meet service and service user need. The post is for Full Time hours, but consideration may be given to a successful candidate who would prefer to work Part Time and who would be able to work with some flexibility across the working week (25 hours per week minimum). Car driver essential to the role.
We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist with an understanding and a passion for working with people with a learning disability who may also experience associated conditions such as Autism. The candidate must be a registered member of HCPC and preferably a member of the RCSLT. You should have completed your RCSLT competencies.
We welcome applications from Speech and Language Therapists who are enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible and resourceful, and enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You will receive high quality supervision, support and training to further develop your skills and experience working in the Intensive Support Team, as part of your continuous professional development.
