The Education Network is looking for a Level 3 teaching assistant with experience of working within a speech and language department. This is a long term, full time position as you will be covering the maternity leave of the existing post-holder.
You will ideally be an ambitious graduate who has an impressive academic record with a relevant degree and previous experience working with children who need Speech and Language support. You will have the ability to engage your pupils through learning and a passion for working with children with SEN. The Headteacher wants to recruit a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant with excellent communication skills and a true consideration for the welfare of their pupils.
As a Speech and Language teaching assistant, you will have the responsibility of enhancing your approach and gaining confidence in your abilities by paying careful attention to the advice of a passionate SENCO who will be acting as your mentor.
