Specification Sales Representative - Commercial Interiors - London & NE Counties
Our client is a recognised manufacturer of commercial and high end residential carpets, tiles and matting solutions. Market sectors include commercial, education, retail, residential, MOD and public sector amongst others. They are looking to improve on their successes and growth by recruiting for an experienced Specification/A&D business development manager to cover NE London and Home Counties (Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire etc). This will be a professional, consultative specification role talking to architects, specifiers and interior designers to discuss applications, materials, colours, etc and offer ideas, advice and samples, help with specifications, discuss moods and environments as well as organise and host CPD seminars on occasion. Once your products have been specified, you will be tasked to follow up on the process, know who has been invited to tender at main and subcontractor levels and introduce, price and quote to ensure specification is maintained through to final order and installation. You will be from an interiors background, ideally from a manufacturer of fitout contractor and have a full understanding of the intricacies and pitfalls of the A&D spec markets, know who to talk to and how to talk to them, have a professional, consultative background and be looking to continue on a progressive career path with a well known, reputable commercial floorings manufacturer.
