This is a full time Speciality Doctor post to provide medical input to Learning Disability Secure Psychiatric Services. This is a replacement post. This unit serves a wide catchment area stretching from Milton Keynes to Hampshire and Dorset, including Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. The Forensic Learning Disability service is located within the grounds of Littlemore Mental Health Unit in Oxford. The service currently has one medium secure ward for men with 10 beds. The post-holder will work with the ward staff complement and be supported and supervised by one consultant psychiatrist.
