You will be expected to work autonomously to provide specialist assessment diagnosis and treatment/management across a complex range of conditions for in-patients out-patients and patients within community settings. In-patients include medical surgical acute stroke stroke rehabilitation ICU and oncology. Out-patient clinics include dysphagia communication and voice.

You will have excellent written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and work constructively within a multi-disciplinary and mutli-agency environment. You will supervise junior Speech and Language Therapists and students.
You will have a recognised 4 year Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent and substantial relevant experience working within the Acute setting and in the community. Current or recent experience in working with adults with dysphagia is essential.
Regular support and supervision and opportunities to enhance skills will be provided in line with KSF.
Hours: 18.75 per week
A car owner / driver is essential
