Immediate Start temporary Research Principal / Team leader role based in Manchester City Ctr

A well respected not for profit organisation based in Manchester City centre are looking for an experienced team leader who has managed large, complex projects and who has advanced skills in applied research and analysis to join their team initially on a temporary basis with the possibility of securing a permanent role.
Your new role
Working alongside another Research Principal and reporting to the Human Rights and Research Director you will be responsible for
- Leading on the delivery of the 2018 'Is Britain Fairer' review, including liaison with the Board and senior management on strategic direction, and quality control of the evidence base
- Working closely with Communications colleagues on a stakeholder engagement strategy for government departments, regulators, civil society organisations and public and private sector bodies
- Developing a strategy to influence national and international data producers and users to improve the availability and use of equality and human rights data
- Providing research expertise and advice to the Commission Board and senior management on monitoring, evidence collection, statistics and data disaggregation.
This is a role with an immediate start offering a 4 month temporary contract with the possibility of a possible permanent role at the end of this time period.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need professional level skills in research and analysis, preferably related to the equality and/or human rights agendas or equivalent experience gained in the workplace. In addition you will need demonstrable skills in preparing, quality assuring and communicating complex data to a range of audiences with the ability to encourage staff to consider innovative methods in research and evaluation. You should also have proven experience of successfully managing complex internal or external projects and programmes. You must be available for an immediate start.
