Specialist Renewals Underwriter

We are currently representing a highly respected global insurer with a universally recognised brand. Based in prestigious city centre offices, their Manchester operation focuses on delivering corporate insurance solutions via a diverse panel of brokers throughout the UK & Ireland.

Our client is looking to attract an experienced Underwriter to join their small but highly experienced team. Focusing on underwriting risks for businesses within the medical sector your role will involve dealing with premiums typically in the region of from £10,000 to 100,000. Working with a diverse broker panel comprising nationals an independents throughout the UK, you will demonstrate the ability to build effective relationships, retaining quality business whilst identifying opportunities for growth.

To apply for this role you will ideally have experience in commercial underwriting, preferably with exposure to PI as well as Property & Liability. Essentially you must possess strong communication and negotiation skills to and be committed to a career in as an underwriter. Candidates with excellent technical skills who have gained their experience within broking are also invited to apply.
