Working within the London Borough of Brent, based in Wembley.
Due to a service re-structure, an excellent opportunity has arisen within paediatric therapy services for a specialist community paediatric physiotherapist .This exciting post is part of a new rotational scheme offering experience and training in early years, community out-patients , mainstream and specialist educational settings and MSK/orthopaedic clinics.
We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic paediatric physiotherapist with appropriate post graduate physiotherapy skills to join our friendly, supportive paediatric therapy team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists and assistants. We are dedicated to developing innovative services and work collaboratively with our local Child Developmental Team, Education and Social Care services, with joint assessments and discussion forums.
As a member of the integrated team you will provide a high quality physiotherapy service to Children & Young People, aged 0 to 19 years in Brent (MSK up to 16 years). You will hold a varied paediatric caseload, and will be expected to undertake specialist physiotherapy assessments and devise client centred treatment interventions. The post holder will also contribute to physiotherapy plans for young people transitioning into adult services.
You will work as an autonomous practitioner and support is available through;

Applicants must be registered with the Health Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and have relevant post graduate experience, as specified on the job description and person specification.
