Specialist Nurse - Cardiac ;amp; Rehabilitation
The Cardiac & Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist is responsible for providing care, advice and support and for contributing to the development and implementation of a programme of clinical audit and research activity. They work closely with NHS Lanarkshire’s acute hospital sites.
The successful candidate will be a NMC registered nurse educated to, working towards or operating at degree level with further education/CPD in the area of speciality. They will have postgraduate expertise within the area of practice, comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards, specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality.
Applicants should possess leadership skills, ability to motivate others and work using own initiative. They will demonstrate excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills, effective time management skills and working knowledge of basic information technology.
