The Mortgage Broker Role

As a Mortgage Broker with Buy to Let experience, you will be given the opportunity to transition into the Commercial Mortgage sector. Working remotely, the role is ideal for candidates based in the North or London. If you’re based in the North, you’ll occasionally visit the office in Halifax, allowing for face-to-face interaction with the team. If you’re based in London, you’ll have the chance to attend more client meetings and participate in industry events, expanding your network and business development opportunities.

While previous experience in Commercial Mortgages is desirable, your Buy to Let expertise will play a key role in handling specialist cases, including Buy to Let, Refurb, and Bridging Finance. You’ll focus on delivering an exceptional level of service to clients and building long-lasting relationships.

The Mortgage Broker Package

• Remote-based, ideally in the North or London
• Occasional office visits in Halifax for Northern-based candidates
• London-based candidates will attend more client meetings and industry events
• Basic salary up to £35k
• 20% commission post-validation

Mortgage Broker Desired Skills and Experience

• Buy to Let Mortgage Advisory experience (Commercial Finance experience desirable)
• Passion and drive to move into the Commercial Finance space
• Experience with specialist Buy to Let, Refurb, and Bridging Finance is a plus
• Interest in property investment and commercial property financing
• Professional and personable approach with strong client relationship skills
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve success
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Problem solver with a proactive mindset
