Are you looking to build a career in financial services with a fast-growing company? Our client is seeking motivated and ambitious individuals to join their team as a Specialist Mortgage Advisor.
This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, ensuring they remain well-informed about product updates and market developments. You will manage cases introduced to the business by these brokers, acting as the client’s main point of contact from the initial application through to completion. The position also requires providing expert guidance on capital raising options and preparing specialist or complex applications, working collaboratively with colleagues across the business as well as with external partners such as lenders. You will take full ownership of the advice provided to clients, ensuring all compliance procedures are followed and the highest professional standards are maintained.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
To generate business from brokers and undertake all aspects of case work, ensuring best client outcome:
- Generate business through the development of strong broker relationships
- Speak with clients to gain an understanding of need
- Underwrite cases, assess affordability, placement of cases
- Fully document all cases and undertake all tasks as required for compliance purposes
- Work lender updates
Other Duties:
- To attend any relevant training provided
- To be responsible for ensuring a minimum 35 hours CPD per annum
- To maintain a log of personal CPD
- Any other tasks in connection to the role that are deemed reasonable by the senior leadership team
- To always demonstrate company core values through personal behaviour
- To actively keep updated with the company’s services, procedures, best practice, and regulatory requirements

What are we looking for?
- CeMap 1, 2, and 3 qualifications preferable
- Industry knowledge preferable
- IT literate, particularly with Microsoft Office
- Ability to demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
