Specialist Regulatory Affairs & Product Compliance - The Role

You will work cross-functionally with various domestic and international departments in this role. You will focus on performing variable types of regulatory related researches including raw materials assessments, coordinating EMEA regulatory specifications, compiling regulatory enquiries answers from EMEA countries specialists and coordinating projects.

Your remit will involve supporting regulatory reviews of ingredient acceptability, product classification, and potential sales restrictions in EMEA countries. We will expect you to develop your general knowledge of regulations governing raw material substances and attributes and provide general regulatory support to internal departments and key stakeholders.

You will also assist with the review of new preliminary and concept ingredients to determine acceptability and appropriate product classification for initiatives. Performing ongoing regulatory researches you will produce ongoing reporting for the business and identify potential changes that could improve performance.

Specialist Regulatory Affairs & Product Compliance - Requirements

Probably degree qualified in Biology, Food Science, Chemistry or similar, you will have worked in a similar role in industry or regulatory authority. This will have given you sound knowledge of relevant EU product compliance legislations/regulations in areas such as health claims, labelling, formulation and general product registration/notification requirements.

Team orientated you will possess strong communication, planning, organisational and project management skills. Comfortable operating in a fast paced environment you are used to working with evolving goals and objectives. You are also the type of person who can analyse problems and develop recommendations and solutions. A second European language and expertise with recognised project management tools would be an advantage.
