This post supports the provision of specialist pharmaceutical services to our paediatric critical care patients and patients within the neonatology obstetrics gynaecology and associated services.
In 2018 the RHSC will be moving to the Little France Campus and services for both adults and children will be provided from a single pharmacy department with the RIE. Before then the post holder will work at both the RHSC and RIE sites.
Candidates must have a Master of Pharmacy degree or equivalent; be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have completed the Scottish Hospital Pharmacy Vocational Training Scheme or equivalent. Your experience will have been gained working in a patient focussed environment using your knowledge and skills to improve patient care and promote optimal outcomes from medicines. Experience in paediatrics is advantageous but not essential.
You will be expected to participate in the rotas providing departmental dispensing services weekend and public holiday cover and on-call service initially at RHSC.
