Specialist Pharmacist (band 7 / 8a) – Urgent Care
We wish to appoint a motivated pharmacist with an interest in urgent care and service-redesign, including supporting development of technician-led clinical services. You will work closely with our co-located primary care and community pharmacy teams, as well as the multi-disciplinary teams, to evaluate changes to pharmacy services across the interfaces of care.
We are committed to the development of our workforce and this post will include supporting the education and training requirements of the pharmacy team. Applicants should demonstrate good clinical and communication skills, and will be supported to undertake post-graduate qualifications. An independent prescribing qualification is desirable but opportunity to undertake this training will be available.
Hospital experience would be advantageous, but applications would be welcomed from those who have worked in alternative sectors and can demonstrate relevant clinical knowledge. You will participate in the pharmacy weekend and on-call service.
Enquiries about this post are welcomed. Please contact:
Cathryn Park (Deputy Director of Pharmacy),
Kirsten Thomson (Lead Clinical Pharmacist),
PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accept late applications so please ensure your application is submitted early
