up to £22,425 per annum

We've just registered a new position in Croydon for a Specialist Care Home providing the highest possible standards of care for up to twelve vulnerable male adults who have neuro-psychiatric diagnosis and who may exhibit challenging behaviours.

As the Team Leader, you will be required to work 2 long shifts (11.25 hours per shift excluding 1 hour unpaid break), and then have 2 flexible days each week of 7.5 hours per shift (excluding half-an-hour unpaid break) for administrative duties and meetings.

You may also be required to work on weekends as agreed with the Management Team.

Our client is offering salary of up to £22,425 as well as a company pension, holiday entitlement, parking, training and career advancement opportunities (this vacancy is due to an internal promotion).

You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and leadership of the site Support Workers and will therefore need to have the ability to direct and deploy a dedicated Support Worker Team. It will be your responsibility to ensure that all staff are fully conversant with the expectations of their roles through the provision of clear instructions and regular team meetings and supervision sessions.

To succeed in this role, you must be knowledgeable about Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Policies and Procedures as well as understand the requirements of the Mental Capacity Act (2005) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (2008). You mus also have experience in conducting DoLs renewals as directed by the Registered Manager.
