Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Barnet - Primary School
A large primary school in Barnet are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to provide support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The role is suited to a candidate with hands on experience with SEN pupils, or a First-Class Psychology graduate looking to further their experience of working with vulnerable pupils in a school setting.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside an experienced SEN Co-ordinator. They will work with you to ensure your activities and time with each SEN pupil is tailored and fruitful. As part of your role as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work with the schools most vulnerable pupils, supporting a variety of behavioural, emotional and social needs.

The school has an excellent reputation for inclusion. SEN pupils are, for the most part, in class. You will support these pupils 1:1, helping them access the lesson being delivered by the Class Teacher.
