Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking to appoint a hardworking, ambitious and experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Richmond. The role is to start on Monday 16th April until July 2018. This will be a part time, long-term role. The pay rate is between £45.00 - 50.00 for half a day. The working hours are 08:30 - 12:30pm.

This OFSTED 'Good' Primary School in the heart of Richmond, in the shadows of the Twickenham Rugby stadium who are looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant who has sound knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and who has experience working in Key Stage 2.

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be committed to providing the best possible support to children who require further support accessing the curriculum at the same time providing independency.

The school would like to meet a Special Needs Teaching Assistant who will be flexible and adaptable in their approach to supporting the learning of the children in school.
As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a child in Year 6 who has an Educational Healthcare Plan and has been statemented with Autism. The child is severely Autistic, low functioning and has a low command of English. The child mother tongue is Italian. The child will need support to integrate with their peers and be supported across Literacy and Numeracy.

The school is in Richmond, easily accessible via the overground line. There is also parking on site. The school is located in the shadows of the Twickenham Rugby Stadium, with plenty of sports activities that are held at the schools with the help of Rugby coaches.
