My client in Hounslow are currently looking to appoint a Special Needs Teaching Assistant for the role as an SEN TA, you as an SEN Teaching Assistant position will be an assertive and amiable TA who has the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, children and parents.
The school is looking to recruit a strong understanding of SEN and support pupils with a range of SEN. The appointed SEN Teaching Assistant must show the ability to be charismatic and passionate in your mannerisms and go the extra mile.
As an SEN TA you will be working mainly in KS1. Supporting children in and out of the classroom setting. The children have regular occupational therapy in school, therefore during this time you will not be required to work with your key children but will be needed to support the classroom as a general Teaching Assistant.

Requirements for the Role:
The school are looking for the ideal candidate who hopes to become a Teacher in the future. With the option of a schools direct/Teacher Training route, the school promote success by providing on the job training.
You will also be educated to a degree level, ideally relating to education but any form of an academic degree will be sufficient.
A grade of C or above in both Maths and English is highly desirable.
Rate of Pay and Working hours:
£70 - £80 per day depending on experience.
Your working hours will consist of 08:30am - 15:30pm, Monday to Friday with a 45-minute lunch and 1x 15-minute coffee breaks.
You must have recent and a minimum of six months' experience working in primary schools. This experience must be relative to this role. If you do not have this experience, we unfortunately will not be able to continue with your application.
