Are you a qualified or experienced teaching assistant looking to gain experience of supporting children with special educational needs? Timeplan Education are working in partnership with a wonderful special school in Nottingham who cater for pupils with SLD, Autistic spectrum disorder, PMLD and multi-sensory impairments. We are recruiting for teaching assistants who are looking to gain further experience of special educational needs and be a part of a hugely successful team who will really support your career progression and CPD.
Working within this setting you will be responsible for supporting the class teacher with the day to day tasks such as: coordination of onsite and offsite activities and creating bright and vibrant display boards. The most important aspect of this role is to develop, maintain and build relationships with pupils who may be disengaged so you will need to show: determination, understanding, continuity and a creative approach to learning.

- Current DBS or willing to apply for a new one
- References covering the last 2 years and 1 must be relevant to working with pupils 0-25 years
- Eligibility to reside in the UK
- Full or part time availability for working hours : 8:15am to 3:30pm
