SEN Teacher - Hemel Hempstead
Temporary to Permanent and Permanent Opportunities
CER are recruiting for a Special Educational Needs Teacher in the Hemel Hempstead area. It is vital that the candidate has a proven track record with SEN students. We are looking to find a polished, prepared individual who can work off their own initiative and someone who is not phased by the prospect of leading a class and giving direction to teaching assistants reporting to them.
If you care about making sure that children with SEN can live as independently as possible and be able to achieve as much as they can we would really like to hear from you. Great communication skills and a good sense of humour is vital for this role and it is also essential that you have the drive to help pupils achieve both academically and socially where possible.
The school is for 11-18 year olds, many of which have MLD, SLD, PMLD or are on the Autistic spectrum. Previous experience with students with these SEN and in addition to this experience with other forms of SEN is highly desirable. Our schools have excellent facilities for pupils and staff, with support networks that are used to produce the best result for the pupils. Playing a large part in the community, the schools fully appreciate the value of working with parents for the benefit of their children. You would be working in a school that has a passion for making a difference that are transparent and wants to see you progress in your own career.
In return CER can offer you:
- Great rates of pay
- The support of a dedicated consultant
- Excellent CPD opportunities
At CER our aim is to provide an apparelled service for both candidates and clients alike.
