PK Education, a supply teaching agency based in Wakefield & Leeds, are recruiting a Special Needs teacher to join a Secondary school in Bradford. The school are looking for a Special Needs Teacher from mid march until the end of the school year on a full time basis covering a maternity leave.
The school is a large school in Bradford with a 'good' Ofsted rating in 2016. Then can offer an initial supply period on a full time basis leading to a possible permanent role for the right candidate. The intial period is from mid march until the end of the academic year.
Applications from both NQT’s looking for newly qualified teacher jobs as well as more experienced teachers looking for a new teaching role will be accepted.
The school are ideally looking for someone who has experience with special needs pupils and some experience in a Primary School environment would be an advantage.the school need a fully qualified teacher with QTS or equivelent.
To be considered for the role you must have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
Good classroom and behaviour management.
Extensive knowledge of the current curriculum.
Strong behaviour management skills.
Special Needs experience
