A Special Needs School in Crowborough are looking for dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join their team on a flexible supply basis.

The school itself seeks to create a place where pupils can learn in a safe, happy and enriching environment, which promotes independence and fosters a sense of curiosity and excitement.

What we are looking for:

  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to individual student needs.
  • A genuine interest in working with children with special educational needs.
  • Previous experience working with children or in a support role is preferred but not essential.

Key responsibilities as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant:

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to monitor and track progress.
  • Assist students with their learning, both in the classroom and in one-on-one settings.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive and inclusive environment.
