Your new role
You will be doing a mixed role that involves supporting KS3 and KS2 students with BESD. Every morning you will provide in class support to KS3 students and in the afternoons, you will be working alongside another TA to plan and resource Art and Craft type Nurture sessions for KS2 students which cover a variety of different topics.
What you'll need to succeed
You need to be a qualified Level 3 or Higher Level Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with SEN students, specifically BESD. Ideally you will have worked in a SEN setting however this isn't essential. You need to have a creative mind and an artistic flair, which will engage and enthuse students by creating exciting and innovative projects based around different topics each term. Due to the nature of the students it is also important that you are empathetic, patient and calm. You need to be available to start work on the 28th January 2019, and committed to this job which will be ongoing.
