*To write Statements of Special Educational Needs
*To lead the SEN assessment process on a day to day basis within the Family of Schools model
*To be the lead officer for an educational phase with a knowledge of provision
*To lead transition arrangements for a specific educational phase
*To represent the SEN Assessment team at annual reviews for children and young people who are Looked After Children and/or with complex needs
*To visit schools and parents as required
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate for this position will have extensive experience of working within Special Educational Needs or a similar setting. Has a willingness to learn new skills on the job and be able to work within a fast paced team environment.
