Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield - 22.5 hours per week (3 days)

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and engaging individual with the ability to inspire a culture of sustainable travel behaviour in children and young people in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield in order to improve health and wellbeing. The post holder will work across the region to support the delivery of School Travel Plans and schools achieving a level of STARS accreditation. A key part of this role will be the provision of hands on support for the promotion of sustainable and active travel specifically related to the STARS programme.

We invite applications from candidates with a passion for sustainable transport and physical activity, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills, experience of delivering practical projects and have the enthusiasm to inspire behaviour changes. Experience of successful partnership working, organising, promoting and delivering events is required as is excellent administrative and organisational skills.
