Sous Chef

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef who is passionate, and has a real flair for all things food. Working on the beautiful South Devon Coast you will be part of a unique Food & Beverage Team offering a bespoke locally sourced menu supporting an experienced Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a consistent and compelling dining experience for our guests.
  • Support the Head Chef in the full operation of the kitchen
  • Run service within the kitchen
  • Quality control
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene within the kitchen

The Individual:

  • Health & Safety and Food Hygiene certificates
  • Previous management experience within a bar/restaurant
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A great team member who likes to support and be involved
  • A forward-thinking problem solver
  • Catering qualifications or experience is desirable to monitor kitchen hygiene standards and assist the kitchen with menu planning/budgeting
