A Sous Chef role is available at a high quality fresh food restaurant in the Ilkley region
The role of Sous Chef is now available at a 60+ cover restaurant which offers its diners fresh, seasonal dishes with menus combining modern dishes and classics.Working within a team of four chefs this role will require you to work across the sections in the kitchen whilst also supporting the Head Chef with the management of the junior chefs and taking charge of the kitchen in their absence.As Sous Chef you will be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the menus, creating dishes to 1/2 AA Rosette standards. The venue is not open late so you will generally work until early evening with the majority of shifts being 10am to 6pm although flexibility is still required.
A Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef who has been working in a high quality, fresh food restaurant or hotel where you were consistently working to high standards. Strong cooking skills with the ability to work on all sections in the kitchen alongside previous experience of running service times are both essential.
