A Sous Chef position is available at an established hotel located in Tyne and Wear
A highly regarded hotel is seeking a Sous Chef to join the team of ten chefs working at the property serving the restaurant, banqueting department and private dining rooms. The restaurant offers all day dining with Bistro style menus that feature unpretentious dishes created from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. As this is a Sous Chef role you will be expected to take on extra responsibilities alongside your cooking requirements including running service times and being in control of the department in the absence of the Head Chef.
A Sous Chef with a stable background working in high quality, all fresh food kitchens where you were cooking for 100+ covers on a daily basis. All round cooking skills are essential but it is also important that you are a confident team leader who can perform well under pressure.
