A country inn with rooms located in Cambridgeshire is seeking to appoint a Sous Chef
An independent country that has a busy lunch and dinner trade is currently seeking to employ a Sous Chef. Working within a stable kitchen team this role of Sous Chef will require you to create fresh, seasonal dishes that feature plenty of local ingredients and prepared to two AA Rosette standards whilst having an input on the creation of new dishes for the menu. A senior role in the kitchen team of six this position will require you to run service and the department in the absence of the Head Chef whilst remaining 'hands on’ leading the junior chefs from the front.
It is essential that all Sous Chefs applying for this position have recently been working to two AA Rosettes in a similar, modern British establishment. The ability to work well and manage others whilst under pressure to perform to high standards is also an essential requirement for the role.
