A coaching inn with rooms on the Wirral is seeking a Sous Chef to join the kitchen team

Role:

Part of a small, independent group of properties this venue is located in a village and is popular with both local residents and visitors to the region but is now recruiting for a Sous Chef role. The pub has a great atmosphere with the property proving popular for its hearty classic pub meals, Sunday lunches and seasonal specials. The kitchen team creates all dishes from scratch using high quality fresh ingredients much of which are sourced locally. As Sous Chef you will work very closely with the Head Chef allowing you to cover for them on their days off and you will also be given an input on the menu design.

Requirements:

This would be an ideal first Sous Chef for a highly experienced Junior Sous Chef or Chef de Partie with a background working in high volume, fresh food kitchens. A chef who has good all round cooking skills in the kitchen but is also capable of managing the rest of the team when necessary is required for this role.
