Diamond Recruitment Services are looking for someone with a strong focus on quality food to be our clients Sous Chef.
Our clients busy kitchen can serve over 1,000 meals a week so good management and communication skills are important. As Sous Chef you will be involved in the day to day running of the kitchen and will need to ensure we maintain our high standards, but it's also a hands-on role so you will be required to prepare fresh food.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Controlling of orders and storage of food supplies
- Preparation and presentation of food
- Assisting Head Chef with effective kitchen management
- Ensuring food safety standards are adhered to
- Ensuring training is up to date.
Having innovative ideas and the ability to train & implement them are vital to this role. If you have a natural drive for excellence, with the ability to prepare foods to a high standard this could be a role for you. Previous experience is essential.
Our client is a family owned venue established in 2004. They have been awarded 5 star by the AA in recognition of the high standard of accommodation and the breakfast they serve.
