One of the best-located Hotels in Cornwall needs a sous chef to maintain the high standards all the guests have come to expect.
Working in a team of 10 + and reporting to the Head Chef, you will have worked in a similar busy high-end restaurant for a number of years and looking to progress.
Based just outside Penzance the Hotel has 14 bedrooms and a very busy restaurant, visited by both guests and non-residents.
The sous will work across all disciplines and have an active role in running the kitchen, ideas and input all very much encouraged.
Generally split shifts, with 2 days off per week (always taken together) but working towards dropping the splits for a better work/life balance.
