A strong Sous chef required to lead this busy site on the outskirts of Southampton

As sous chef you will be hands on with day to day service, where you will be catering between 100/70 covers, offering classic menus suited to a fresh food gastro pub

You will have knowledge and experience of grill work and holding the pass, you will be not only a competent chef but organised and a good leader, you will be responsible for ordering, stock control and day to day paper work as the management side of this role indicates.

As Sous chef you will be responsible for menu changes, rotas and training of staff, along with ensuring the good reputation for food and service is maintained.

Sous chef experience:

-At least two years working as Sous chef in a busy fresh food site
-knowledge and experience of support roles within a kitchen
-Ability to hold a busy kitchen in a calm and organised manor when required
- Fresh food experience as site is non branded.

Sous chef expectations:

-working all shifts, including regular weekends and evening shifts.
-A driver with own car/motorbike, due to location
-A qualified chef with at least two solid years experience at this level
-Ability tosupport, train and develop others.
-Ambitious and want to progress to other sites and support new openings in the future.
