We are seeking a highly organised and capable Sous/Second chef with a broad food knowledge to help lead the kitchen team at our recently opened prestige pub restaurant the Cranberry Farm near Exeter.
This is a busy and rewarding role providing excellent job security and long term career prospects for a skilled and motivated chef. You and the team will prepare and cook an extensive and varied menu working with the restaurant staff to meet defined service standards to provide our guests with a casual dining experience of the highest quality.
You will provide the care, passion, drive and commitment to organize, mentor and control the team while maintaining consistent service quality. You will operate according to precise menu specifications. You will ensure that the hygiene, stock and safety routines are followed and support Head Chef as required. Previous experience in a similar role and the ability to thrive under pressure in a high paced and exciting service is required.
