Sous Chef

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Sous Chef or Chef de Partie looking for a step up. Working within a prestigious day and boarding school based in the Surrey countryside, the kitchen provides the catering for both core feeding as well as high end, extensive hospitality. In this position, you will be working within a team of 7 and providing core feeding for 450 pupils + staff. You will be able to produce good fresh food as well as have a experience within hospitality. As the kitchen provides a lunch and dinner service, there are two shifts (6.30am - 3pm/11.30am - 8pm) and you must be able to work these on a rota basis.

To be considered as a candidate, you will
- already be at Sous Chef level or a strong CDP looking for a step up
- ideally have worked with Education catering
- hold your relevant catering qualifications and certificates
- be a good team player with the ability to use your own initiative
- have an eye for detail and presentation
- be able to work 5/7 days as well as either morning or evening shifts
