this one off site in Bedfordshire town, is close to train station and local transport has been open for a couple of years now and after their Head chef recently moved out of the area have been looking for a strong Sous chef whom is keen to develop the small team, introduce daily special menus for this steakhouse and grill.
offering an excellent salary and bonus structure, this role would suit a Sous chef whom has worked within both fresh and branded sites, that has worked as a Head chef in either pubs or restaurants so understands and has knowledge of how a kitchen and operation like this would work and what it needs to function effectively.
Sous chef the role:
-daily tasks outlined by the manager
-menu planning and ordering in line with this
-development of team
-knowledge of GP and waste control
-working to daily and weekly targets set by manager and head chef
-working hours as required for an effective operation
-Supporting the manager in moving the business forward.
Sous chef experience required:
-At least two years at Sous chef or senior level in similar environment
-knowledge and experience of running a busy kitchen
- Hands on Sous chef
-Abiltiy to control ordering, stock and GP
-able to work evenings, weekends as required by the business.
-Able to work in the UK and interview within the next 10 days.
