I am looking for an experienced Sous Chef in Dartmouth to assist the Head Chef lead the team based in this busy pub overlooking the water in Dartmouth on a full-time, permanent basis. You will receive a competitive salary of around £24,000.00 per annum.
The Pub has built up a great reputation in the area for great service, great food and a gorgeous location. The company is a small collection of pubs across the South West.
As the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the quality of the food and the output of the kitchen along with mentoring and training of the junior chefs. You will also be responsible along with the head chef for maximizing guest satisfaction and revenue.
You will also be responsible along with the Head Chef for ensuring consistently high standards by adhering to the company specifications and procedures.
Ideally you will run a kitchen with flawless food hygiene standards and organisational systems that will ensure amazing food, A happy brigade and higher margins.
An ambitious and enthusiastic Sous Chef with a real desire to progress.
The ideal Sous Chef will have a mix of branded and independent experience, with at least a years’ experience as a Sous Chef in a fresh food kitchen.
You will be a chef that can formulate plans that move the restaurant forward, anticipate any potential hurdles and create action plans to overcome and or prevent them.
