A Sous Chef Tutor is required to work at a Culinary Cookery School located in Derbyshire.
The owner of a catering company is seeking a Sous chef to teach from complete novices to experienced chefs alike, the philosophy is very simple: good produce, grown or reared in a traditional fashion - not necessarily organic or faddy, but good old-fashioned produce cooked in simple to follow recipes which all students should be able to replicate on their own once the course is completed.there is a clear emphasis on superb quality and real-world practical advice. As a chef tutor you will understand each student works at a different pace and students are therefore treated individually. The training kitchen has recently been refurbished and you will be working only with the finest equipment and cooking ingredients. The role is mainly daytime but there will be the occasional outside catering events during evenings and weekends.
This is a specialist role that will require you have a stable background with a minimum 3 rosette or equivalent experience. Would suit a chef that is looking for mainly day time hours and with excellent and proven communication and mentoring skills.
