**Sous Chef -Stunning Gastro Pub - Cuckfield - £28,000 plus tips**
We are currently looking for an experienced Sous Chef for this fast paced food led pub. The style of food is very much modern British with an emphasis on fresh local produce, everything is made in house. A local baker, a family run butcher and fruit and vegetables direct from market daily all contribute to this establishment's incredible reputation. Serving lunch, bar and dinner menus... and of course our traditional Sunday lunch to over 500 guests a week; you need to be quick on your feet chefs!
The ideal candidate will have experience at a similar level passion and drive are ultimately what our client is looking for, an eye for detail and a keen interest in current food trends are also advantageous. You will be responsible for all junior chefs and will be both a mentor and manager.
You MUST ensure food standards are kept high, be punctual and be a real team player HACCP and COSHH requirements must also be met. You will be deputising for the Head chef in his absence.
Working five days out of seven to include evenings and weekends (mixed straight and split shifts), this position offers a salary package in excess of £31,000pa, and a full holiday entitlement.
