Sous chef- rosette hotel

A Strong Sous chef with rosette experience is required for this stunning boutique hotel in Cambridge.

This hotel boasts a 2 rosette quality for both its a la carte restaurant and functions, and offers a high level of food and service to its guests within this 45 bedroom hotel.

As Sous chef you will cover the Head chef in their absence and ensure the level of service is maintained throughout, you will as Sous chef be involved in menu planning and staff development of junior team members, whilst having the opportunity to grow and develop towards a more senior role if this is of interest.

Sous chef- the role
-Working to a 2 rosette level plus with team
-working the required shifts as outlined by Head chef and hotel
-offering a competitive salary that is reviewed annually
-ability and confidence to cover the Head chef in their absence
-excellent gratuities paid monthly equally between £2/4k per year.

Sous chef- Experience required
-At least one years experience at Rosette level, ideally in a sous chef or senior role
-At least two years solid experience as a sous chef
-Experience of working in professional kitchen
-Flexible to work all hours required of the business including weekends and evenings
-Able to cover Head chef in thier absence
-Live locally in Cambridge or a driver with own car, living within a 20 mile radius.
