This multi-award winning and accoladed restaurant near Abingdon, Oxfordshire is looking for a Sous Chef to join and help lead their team of ambitious chefs.
It’s a very high standard Gastro-pub with AA Rosettes, Michelin bib gourmand award, privately owned and with superb reviews.
This Sous Chef role in Oxfordshire comes with great working hours and it’s a very nice place to work at. They strongly believe in work life balance and you can expect to work 4.5 days per week, around 45-48 hours per week.
There is a garden on site there and most of the produce comes either from there or is sourced locally. Meat is sourced from trusted farms and estates in the local area, fish is delivered fresh 5 times a week and food miles are kept to a minimum.
The quality of ingredients is at the heart of their ethos. Cooking is modern British, and the Head Chef and his team of chefs prepare all of the dishes fresh on the premises every day, including bread, pasta (made with flour from the local mill), ice creams, sorbets and even the horseradish sauce for Sunday roasts!
LIVE-IN - There is a live-in accommodation available nearby at a very competitive price of just £50 per week.
£35,000 OTE - The salary for this Sous Chef role near Abingdon, Oxfordshire is circa £27-30,000 plus at least £5,000pa in weekly cash tips.
