A Sous Chef role is available at a fast paced, fresh food restaurant in Sheffield
A popular neighbourhood restaurant which has a fantastic reputation is seeking a Sous Chef to join the team of six chefs working in the fast paced kitchen which regularly serves over 100 covers. The restaurant offers seasonal menus with the menus changing daily depending on the produce available from suppliers on the day although popular dishes often remain. As Sous Chef you will be expected to work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that the kitchen at the property is running smoothly whilst managing the junior members of the team to ensure that they are capable of cooking to the standards expected when under pressure.
An experienced Sous Chef or very strong Junior Sous Chef who has been working in fresh food kitchens where you were cooking for large numbers of covers is required to take on this role. As well as being a strong chef it is also important that you have developed good team leadership skills and have experience of running shifts in the kitchen.
