Excellent Career Opportunity for Sous at Busy Country Hotel & Restaurant

A Fantastic opportunity had arisen at our client based in Grasmere in the Lake District for a Sous Chef to work in the kitchen of their small luxury Hotel. This is a key role in the kitchen as you will support the Head Chef in preparing meals for the hotel's guests in the fine dining restaurant as well as the popular pub/bar. There is little in the way of functions so you will just prepare meals for the restaurant and all day bar menu.

The Role

* Working in a motivated team of chefs using all fresh seasonal produce to AA rosette level
* Encouraging and managing the Junior Chefs
* Preparing meals for Restaurant & All day Bar Menu
* Kitchen Management duties - running kitchen in chefs absence

The Person

* You will already be a Sous Chef or ambitious Jr Sous
* Able to work unsupervised and have strong management skills
* Experience of working in Hotels ideally to AA rosette standard
* Highly motivated and focused. Positive can do attitude
* Steady Career History

Salary to £28K + live in
