Based in a beautiful, quaint little village near Lechlade in Gloucestershire, this privately owned fresh food pub sits right at the heart of the village. As you walk in, the first thing I noticed was the smell of the wood-fired oven, which was clearly cooking some amazing, freshly prepared pizza. The décor is modern with a rustic touch and a lovely open fire. They also clearly know their beers! The pumps are filled with some of the best suppliers in the area, which is great for all us Ale fans.
The menu is rustic and very seasonal. They focus on quality produce sourced across the Cotswolds and this is clear when you read the menu to see what is on offer. If you are a lover of seasonal British food that is non pretentious, colourful and full of flavour, then this is 100% the place for you.
We are looking to recruit a Sous Chef for this Gloucestershire pub that is really passionate about seasonal British food with an Artisan twist. We are looking for a Sous Chef Gloucestershire that is a real team player and who can really help the owners of this lovely place continue to develop their food offering and keep destination diners and locals coming through the door.
This Sous Chef role in East Gloucestershire could be an ideal opportunity for a seasoned Chef de Partie with some team management experience. You will help oversee a team of 5 and will cover the kitchen two days week.
Working hours are around 45 per week.
Salary offered is between £26-£28K depending on your experience.
